The Annual 5K run/fun walk is a family event, and all are invited. We donate 100% of our proceeds to the Shelby County School Release Time Program called C.O.R.E. (Council of Religious Education).
The Race is held on Memorial Day, May 27th, at the historic City of Sidney, Ohio Tawawa Park, 12 Tawawa Dr. Sidney, Ohio 45365. The race begins at 8:30 AM.
Kid’s for C.O.R.E. Run/Walk
Pre-race Cost: $12 before May 20th. $15 May 21-27th.
(Only pre-race registrants receive a t-shirt)
Each pre-race registrant child will receive a t-shirt and a ribbon.
5K for C.O.R.E. Run
Pre-race Cost: $25 before May 20th. $30 May 21-27th.
This is a 5K for runners, or 1 mile for walkers. Water is provided on the course and at start/finish. Refreshments are provided at the finish line (water & light snacks). Each pre-race registrant receives a t-shirt and a finishers ribbon. The top 3 females and top 3 male finishers will receive an award.
Virtual 5K for C.O.R.E. Run
Pre-race Cost: $25 before May 20th. $30 May 21-27th.
Why choose the VIRTUAL OPTION? If you are out of state, or won’t be in town for the race, or feel more comfortable running at home, but want to support the cause, and still get your t-shirt and ribbon, then this is for you. You can choose to ship your packet for a fee.
